Something To Tell You

Ok so I am back, like I said I would be and I have some news.

Along with my partner Samantha, I have purchased a restaurant. My dream is coming true. It has been 10 years in the making, 10 years of hard work and wanting a restaurant of my own and finally I have it.

So long as all goes well, I should be completing and getting keys etc within a week or so.

I am very excited but at the same time really quite nervous as it is a huge challenge. This is secretly half the reason why I am setting up this little blog. I will have a website for the business, a facebook site and all of that. But this blog is something away from the business, its a bit more personal, its about me, its my journal. 

So don't worry you wont be just reading plugs for the business, you will be reading all about days in the life of a chef and a new restauranteur. This site will be rich in recipes I have created along with recipes I have found from others that I think need to be shared. But possibly something that you wont be able to get from anywhere else are the pictures and stories of how we are transforming a run down Indian restaurant, into a brand new modern British dining restaurant. You will get to read about decorating and renovating, how we are hiring staff, how we order the equipment, how I write menus, everything. I am sure me and Samantha will have many ups and downs and you will be updated with all the gossip, everything, nothing will be left out.

So if you ever wanted to see how a real kitchen and restaurant operates behind the scenes, with real people (we are not talking about Ramsay's Hells Kitchen here people) then please do check back with me regularly so your not left out.

I know the blog is not rich in colour or pictures or even content at the moment but please stick with me, it will get done when I figure out how to use the computer properly I promise. I am obviously really busy as well so I will keep it as updated as I can.
